Update 1 voor AmigaOS 4.1 is door Hyperion uitgebracht. Het betreft hier een volledig nieuwe installatie CD dat op een lege partitie geinstalleerd dient te worden. Een update over de vorige 4.1 installtie is niet mogelijk.



Onder de kap zijn er de nodige wijzigingen doorgebracht, zo is de installatie vernieuwd en worden er "3rd party" applicaties bijgeleverd die middels een installatie tool worden geinstalleerd. Hoge resoluties tot 1920 worden standaard ondersteunt en er wordt efficienter met het videogeheugen omgesprongen. De iconen zijn vernieuwd en vergroot waardoor ze beter passen bij hoge resoluties. De WBStartup bestaat niet meer en is vervangen door een applicatie.
